Well, here's what happened. I wanted to make sure everything was planned well in advance. So, I had reservations for dinner, and I bought movie tickets from Fandango. Well, I'd heard some reviews that referred to "The 40 Year Old Virgin" as sweet and a good date movie, not crude like you'd expect. Fortunately, Chris gave me the heads up that it was indeed otherwise. So, I had non-refundable tickets. I proceeded to buy us two more tickets for "March of the Penguins", which I can only assume from talking to my parents, was a much better choice. My parents were there because I donated the spare tickets to them.

My mother was quite pleased we didn't see that movie for our anniversary date. Quite pleased.
