		<description>yah, i'm into the herbs now too.  i've got like 8 pots on the windowsill, growing thyme, oregano, basil, sage, cilantro, etc.  it's fun.  now i know why hobbits are into it.</description>

		<description>Gardening actually sounds like a good idea.  That's something I could take on as a small hobby around the house.  I used to keep a few potted herbs around, but I killed them off about 2 years ago.  Plus, perhaps that would motivate me to cook.

As for fishing, I did enjoy that as a kid.  But there came a time when I personally felt bad clubbing the fish.

The square foot method takes almost no space, but if you don't have any space you might be able to find a community garden where you can get a plot.  That would get you out your back yard, too.  One hobby I'm thinking about is aviation.  It's not cheap, though.  Fishing?</description>
