Fun weekend

I want to be a beast like Dan0. Working on it.

So tired…

One of those “why do I do this” mornings. Looking at the weather forecast, slight chance of showers. I almost wish it would rain, then I’d have a good excuse not to go to SC to practice. Am I feeling older? Or do I just need to move more during the week. Waking up on a Saturday with stiff hips is not acceptable. Perhaps I should actually *start* running again as I had planned.

Yet, I’m getting ready and still up for the drive.

Get your foot in the door, just $19.95

So the nut jobs over at http://www.heavenforsure.com/ are selling “Heaven Insurance” for $19.95. According to the scam, you get a certificate that gets you in to heaven. What I really want to know is, how many fools have sent these fools money. I know it’s a small number, but still a sad number I’m sure. Better act now, or your order may be “cancelled due to limited supply”.

Please don’t think twice about giving these guys any money, not even as joke. They’re outright scammer and spammers. I probably shouldn’t even be giving their site the time of day.

Jesus has a cell phone?

The Finnish government just shut down a service sending text message replies allegedly from Jesus in answer to peoples prayer requests. My favorite quote from the article:

He declined to say how many prayers had been received, but added: “This was no gold mine… It seems you can’t interest people in everything.”

You don’t say! You mean, people didn’t buy into the notion that Jesus has a cell phone?

Calling SC Players…

Got a camera phona and play at SC? Let me know!

I’m testing my beta code for MMS to MovableType. It’s the basic code that the mblog is running off of. The goal is to allow my friends from SC to post pics from the fun on Saturday and Sunday.

And come NPPL Huntington Beach, we can have a mobile army. Sounds fun, eh? Comment away if you got the hardware…

Looking for the mblog?

I changed the site layout a bit. You can now find the mblog here
